About Our Pastor
Pastor Isaac & Josephine Lias joined the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church after serving over 18 years as the Senior Pastor of Wright's Chapel MBC in Collierville, Tennessee. The SLMBC family elected Pastor Lias on Monday, March 26, 2012 after an extensive search for a new shepherd. On Sunday, April 1, 2012, Rev. Lias began his pastoralship as the pastor of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church and was installed as Senior Pastor on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Since Pastor Lias' arrival, more than 115 new members have joined
SLMBC and more than 35 souls have been added to the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Lias is an educator for the Shelby County Schools System and also has experience as a Track & Field Coach, boys and girls cross country, Girls Soccer, and boys and girls basketball. In his leisure time, he enjoys studying the word of God and spending time with his wife, First Lady Josephine, children and his grandchildren.
